Exosomes are the messages cells send each other. Used in skin, the aim is to support the repair process already under way — calmer redness, better texture, and skin that recovers well after a procedure rather than fighting it.
Cells release tiny membrane-bound packages carrying proteins, lipids and small RNA. Those packages are how one cell tells its neighbours what to do — repair here, calm down there, build more collagen.
Exosome preparations used in skin are concentrated versions of that signalling material, prepared and freeze-dried, then reconstituted at the time of treatment. ASCE+ and Exocobio are two of the products used in aesthetic practice, each with its own formulation.
The reason they are paired with lasers and microneedling is timing. Those procedures create controlled micro-injury, and the hours afterwards are when the skin is actively rebuilding — the point at which signalling material is most likely to matter.
In most cases exosome therapy is not a standalone appointment. It is applied as part of a treatment that has already opened a path into the skin: fractional laser, radiofrequency microneedling, or a similar resurfacing procedure.
The preparation is applied to the treated area immediately afterwards, while the skin is still receptive. There is no additional downtime beyond the procedure itself, and most people describe the sensation as cooling and soothing rather than uncomfortable.
A post-procedure balm or sheet mask may be sent home with you for the days that follow, which is when redness and tightness are usually most noticeable.
How many sessions, and over what interval, depends on the concern and on how your skin responds. That is decided after assessment rather than sold as a fixed package.
People recovering from a resurfacing procedure who want the redness and downtime phase to pass more comfortably.
Skin that has become dull, uneven or rough in texture, particularly where the aim is overall quality rather than one specific lesion.
Acne scarring and post-inflammatory marks, where it is used to support the procedure doing the structural work rather than replacing it.
Sensitive or easily-irritated skin, where the soothing element is often the part people notice most.
It suits some concerns less well. Pigmentation conditions such as melasma are chronic and prone to rebound, and they respond best to a plan built around them specifically — which is a conversation worth having before you commit to any course of treatment.
Consultation ฿1,500–3,000 depending on complexity, plus the ฿300 clinic service fee. Any treatment is quoted separately before you agree to it.
Skin treatments work gradually. Texture and tone change over weeks as collagen remodels, not between one appointment and the next, and photographs taken in the same light a month apart tell you more than the mirror does.
Results vary between individuals, and how your skin behaves depends on age, sun exposure, the underlying concern and what else you are using at home.
The most useful thing you can do is have the concern assessed before choosing the treatment, so the plan is built around what is actually going on with your skin rather than around a product.
No residency, referral or Thai insurance is needed, and an assessment fits inside a short stay.
If you are here briefly, say so at the start — what can sensibly be done on one trip is a fair question, and worth answering before the first session rather than after it.
You will see a female specialist. Consultations are conducted in English or Thai.
