The pelvic surgery team at The Fit Clinic

Most of the clinic's doctors are surgeons. Their sub-specialty is the pelvic floor — prolapse, leaking, and repair of the vagina and of the supports of the uterus and bladder. Each one is listed below with registration number, credentials and training, so you can check them before you book.

Who operates

The surgeon is the specialist who assessed you. You are examined at the clinic, the options are explained there, and if an operation is the right choice it is done by the same doctor.

The partner hospitals are Praram 9 Hospital and Vimut Hospital. Which one is used depends on the operation planned, your surgeon's operating schedule and, where relevant, which hospital your insurance works with.

Operations the team performs

Prolapse surgery, with the uterus kept or removed, including vaginal hysterectomy and repair of the vaginal walls — done through the vagina, with no abdominal incision.

Surgery for stress urinary incontinence, considered after pelvic floor training and assessment.

vNOTES — keyhole surgery through the vagina — and conventional laparoscopic gynaecological surgery.

Before any operation

Not everyone who is assessed needs an operation. Pelvic floor training and a pessary are discussed first where they fit, and the choice is yours.

Risks, the hospital, the expected stay and the hospital's costs are explained before you decide. Results differ between individuals and no outcome is guaranteed.

Who will perform my operation?

The specialist who assessed you at the clinic. You can ask for a particular surgeon, or for a female surgeon, when you book.

Is surgery done at the clinic?

No. The clinic is where you are assessed and where the decision is made. Operations are done at Praram 9 Hospital or Vimut Hospital, which have operating theatres, anaesthetists and inpatient care.

How can I check a surgeon's qualifications?

Each surgeon's Thai Medical Council registration number is on this page and on their profile, together with their credentials and training.
